Airmacchi F260 with MTV-9 installed MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH has received the the EASA STC 10055270 for 3-blade composite propeller MTV-9-B/188-50 on additional types of the F.260 series. Now F.260, F.260B, F.260C, F.260D are supplemental type certified with the MTV-9 by EASA.
By FAA all types of the F.260 series are supplemental type certified with the MTV-9.

MT-Propeller President Gerd Muehlbauer says, that the installation provides better overall performance, improves cruise speed by 2 to 3 kts and has about 5 lbs less total wheigt than the original propeller.
There are no current Airworthiness Directives (AD)

Cirrus SR20 with MTV-12 installed MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH has received the the EASA STC 10055250 for the next generation 3-blade scimitar composite propeller MTV-12-D/188-59b on the Cirrus SR20.

This installation ist already supplemental type certified by FAA STC SA03303CH (by Flight Resource LLC).

MT-Propeller Vice President Martin Albrecht announced, that the installation feature the following advantages:

  • Reduced take-off distance by approx. 300ft (MTOW, SL, ISA conditions)
  • Improved climb performance by approx. 5% (MTOW, SL, ISA conditions)
  • Improved cruise performance by up to 3 kts depending on altitude and power
  • Reduced weight by approx. 33 lbs compared to the original metal propellers

Robin DR 300/400 with MTV-6 installed MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH has received the the EASA STC No. 10055251 for the next generation 3-blade scimitar composite propeller MTV-6-A/190-69 on the Robin (CEAPR) DR 300/400 with the TAE-125-02-114 engine installed.

MT-Propeller President Gerd Muehlbauer says, that the installation reduces ground roll and distance over 50 ft obstacle by approximately 40m (131ft) and improves climb performance by 5%. It provides very smooth crusing while increasing the cruise speed by 2to 3kts.
No engine modification is necessary for the installation of the MTV-6 Propeller.

MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH has received the ANAC Brazil Validation of the EASA STCs for the installation of the 5-blade MTV-27 on Beech King Air 90 Series, Beech King Air 300/350 Series, Beech King Air 200 Series.
All three installation are already supplemental type certified by EASA and FAA.

MT-Propeller President Gerd Muehlbauer announced, that the installation of the 5-blade MTV-27 Propeller on KingAir Series offer general performance improvements and there are no propeller speed restrictions while operating in low idle.

This installation ist already supplemental type certified by EASA STC 10047589 and TCCA Canada SA13-34 (by Eagle Aircraft Inc.).

This installation is already supplemental type certified by FAA #SA02958NY.

MT-Propeller Vice-President Martin Albrecht announced, that according to the certification flight test, the installation feature the following advantages:

  • Approx. 18 lbs less weight than the original metal propeller
  • Cooler ITT on ground with condition lever at low and high idle position
  • No propeller speed restrictions on ground while operating in low idle
  • Outside noise reduction by 3 dB(A) inside by 1,5 dB(A)

Due to the smaller diameter the MT-Propeller for the Socata TBM 900 has more ground clearance for less blade tip erosion.

EASA STC for 3-blade Propeller on Gipps Aero GA8

Gipps Aero GA8 with MTV-9 MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH has yet received the EASA STC #10043965 for the next generation 3-blade scimitar composite propeller MTV-9-B/200-58 on the Gipps Aero GA8 optional also with the weight increase to 1905kg MTOW, powered by a Lycoming I0-540-K1A5 engine. This STC ist also valid for the GA8 TC320 and the FAA STC is already in progress.

FAA STC for QFJ 5-blade MT-Propeller on Beech King Air 350

Beech King Air 330/350 with MTV-27MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH has yet received the FAA STC #SA03525NY for the next generation 5-blade scimitar composite propeller MTV-27-1-E-C-F-R(P)/CFR260-65b on the Beech King Air 300/350 Series (Beech 300, 300LW, B300, B300C) powered by the Engines P&WC PT6A-60A.
The installation is also EASA certified by STC#10050861.



MT-Propeller President Gerd Muehlbauer says, this propeller installation is a great improvement to the Beech King Air 300/350 Series.
The new 5-blade MT-Propellers provide a performance improvement of app. 8% in take-off & climb and 4-5 kts in cruise on this aircraft type. 100th Pilatus PC12 converted to 5 bladed QFJ MT-Propeller

100th converted PC12 5 years after introduction and EASA/FAA certification of the Quiet Fan Jet 5 bladed propeller System for the Pilatus PC12 the 100th PC 12 was converted to our new propeller system.
The customers are impressed by the improved performance in take off (15% shorter), climb (10% faster) and cruise (up to 4kts faster) plus the unmatchable cabin comfort with a jet like vibration level and reduced cabin noise by up to 6 dB(A). The TBO for the propellers is presently 3000hrs or 6 year and will be increased to 3500hrs soon.
Customers around the world are using this latest generation propeller system. The PC12 fleet has accumulated over 100,000 hours of flight time with the 5-blade MT-Propeller.

100th converted PC12Phelps Lane, owner of the Cygnus Lift company, told us his impression after installation of the MT-Propeller on his PC12, which was the 100th PC12 converted:

In the last 2 years MT-Propeller certified a complete new product line of 2 bladed/3 bladed/4-bladed propeller systems.

These propeller systems are the lightest certified and vibration approved propeller models available today.
The 2-bladed propeller with 6.5 kg (14,3 lbs), the 3-bladed propeller with 9.5 kg (21 lbs) and the 4-bladed propeller with 11.5 kg (25,3 lbs) can be used as a full constant speed or ground adjustable version on tractor or pusher applications within the limitations of the TCDS.
They are presently EASA certified according to EASA TCDS P.044 / P.048 and P.049.

With the certification of the lightest certified constant speed propellers in the world, MT-Propeller also received the certification by the EASA (EASA TCDS P.104) and FAA ( P22BO) for the 5-bladed MTV-27 propeller model with a maximum diameter of 3 m (118 inch) with a maximum rating of 1700 hp and 1700 rpm.

With this certification the MTV-27-Propeller is the lightest choice for the high power turbines with a reduced weight compared to the only available steel hub/aluminum blade option which is approximately 25 kg / 55 lbs heavier than the MT-Propeller.

This propeller gives a great opportunity to airplane manufactures for a new low weight, low noise, high performance option.

EASA STC for 3-blade Propeller on Extra 300/200
